This blog is to replace a page I had on my sketch and doodle blog at http://gjjary.blogspot.co.uk/
This blog will contain all things relating to the graphic novel series I have been working on writing and drawing, which is still in the plotting stages, but is now going into sketching and design as we speak.
First off I will reveal the name of the overall series, as you may have guessed by the title, and welcome message is - The Void.
The story is broken up into three main sections, each section with it's own title, The Void is simply a description for the series as a whole. That's not to say that one part of the series will not include that name within it, for it surely will. And what The Void is, well that will remain a secret for now.
The first section of the story will be told in the form of an ongoing comic book. This ongoing series will continue on as the story moves into act 2, and will cross back over into the main narrative later on down the line.
The working title for that series is The Contractors, I cannot reveal the final title at this time, mostly as I am still undecided, but more on that at a later date.
The second section of the story will be told over a series of 6 graphic novels, and possibly some one-shots, this will be the main bulk of the story, having been introduced to and are hopefully by then familiar with the cast of characters.
and the final section... well that remains to be revealed.
Well, that's the plan anyway! Hopefully it'll all work out and nothing will need to be altered down the line due to new ideas or my brain melting from trying to fathom the ins and outs of the continuity of this story!
I will eventually get a separate website built for The Void, which will be home to all aspects of the story, and then replace this blog with that, but until then I will be using this here to intermittently reveal characters, locations etc and some of the main plot lines that make up the story as a whole, with explanations to who, what, where and why they are what they are, but of course nothing that will spoil the story.
